ABOUT ME

My name is Heather Weiser, and this is my 16th  year of teaching. I love teaching, and 5th grade is by far my favorite.

I've graduated from Truett-McConnell College, North Georgia College and State University, as well as Piedmont College with my Educational Specialist degree in 2011. Along with these degrees I also hold my Reading Endorsement and my ESOL Endorsement.

I live in Cleveland with my husband Andy. We have been married for 19 years. We do not have any children however we have always had pets. We've had goats, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, fish, dogs, and even Emperor scorpions. Last Christmas we adopted 2 Plott Hound mixes from the humane society. They are quite a handful.

My favorite things to do are to hang out with my friends and family, sleep, eat, and of course to READ! Boy do I love my Kindle. Some of my favorite books are Tales of the Fourth Grade Nothing, The BFG, Little House on the Prairie, and Where the Red Fern Grows. I must have my coffee in the morning (sorry I will have coffee breath), and I love to eat dark chocolate. . . .it is my weakness. One day I want to have my very own penguin. I know that is very strange.

Some of the things that I really don't like are MORNINGS (unless I get my coffee), and people who do not try at all.

I really can't wait to work with all of you this year.

Sincerely,
Mrs. Weiser
